A reflection of Alisha being ” young” at heart:

– I still play with My Little Pony with my niece all the time

– I watch cartoons more than the news and the other channels combined.

– I cried when Steve left Blue’s Clues, and explained to my niece and nephew that he had to go to college… I still think he betrayed me…

– If they were to ever make a Sit N’ Spin for adults, I’d have owned 4 by now…

– I didn’t get over the whole “Cooties” thing until I was about 11

– I still have the child like faith with Santa and whatnot (I know the truth but my nephew and niece don’t)

– I own a popple and I’m not ashamed to admit it… :giggles: her name is Polka-Dottie =)

– People say that the first thing that comes to mind when they see me is “bubbly” or “innocent”…. preferably “bubbly”

So yeah, I’m young at heart, but I can be mature when I have to be…. I just loved being a kid, I think I still am too… is this a bad thing?

  1. not at all…not at all! the world would be a much better place if everyone was still a kid at heart. =) rock on sister!

  5. It’s definitely great to be not grown up. Personally, i have decided to grow more mature, yet not, and to never ever grow up (a la “Hook”–great movie!). Besides, Christ calls us to have “the faith of a child.”
