Wow… I’m in such a good mood… maybe it’s because of what happened on Sunday…
Well it started out that I got up to go to church, and had the usual hot hot shower and smelling liking pearberry. Then off to church we went. We got to see kids sing from what they learned in VBS… the kids rapped too… greatest stuff ever. ^_^
Then I was asked to go help watch a children’s church class. I obliged and was able to make this shimmery sparkler looking thing with glitter and tissue paper… it amuses me when I’m bored most. After that I was asked by Seth and Lydia if I wanted to go hiking with them. As much as I wanted to go, I had already promised to see my friend who was in a car accident not too long ago… (she was in a car accident when a bear walked on to the road so when her and her mom swerved, she went into the other lane and got hit by a dump truck… thank God she’s ok) So I went home, and got ready for my friend Joe to pick me up so me and him could go see my friend, Tara-lynn… well that came out to be interesting…
For starters, I went to his house and showed me his great guitar skills. 13 years of learning really pays off. So we were at his house for an hour arguing as to who was a better guitarist. It was easy to say he was because I only have a year of guitar skills…. scratch that, a year of bass skills, which isnt great 🙂 So we left to go pick her up. Taralynn has bumps and bruises a little but still wanted to go out somewhere, so we went to the mall since we were in Stroudsburg already. Good ol’ Joe treated us to lunch, which was only me getting Mozzarella Sticks and Taralynn getting an ice tea. Then we browsed the mall… after what was like an hour, we decided we’d go to Wal-Mart. Here’s where trouble brews up…
So we’re pulling into the Wal-Mart parking lot when… the car stalls on us. So we pushed it into a parking spot and decided to let it cool off. After 15 minutes, it still wouldn’t start which ended up in us going to Wal-Mart, and us calling his mom on Joe’s cell phone… after the 15 minutes were up, we deicded to go see if the car started… yay it worked. After we lapped around the parking lot like Nascar racers, we decided to take Taralynn back home…
*An Hour Passes*
So, we just dropped Taralynn off to home… we’re on Schafer School House Road which is somewhat of a busy intersection… in the middle of the road while on a green light… the car stalls. Both me and Joe start freaking out screaming and just run into someone’s yard, and might I say no plants or flowers were hamed during this incident… yeah those people looked pretty…. peturbed by the whole “incident”. After 5 minutes of feeling guilty, Joe found his cell phone and called his Mom who was about 5 minutes away luckily. So Joe’s mom and stepdad end up finding us, and told us how these pipes were unconnected and there was something wrong with his carbeurator (did I spell that right?). So still, in these people’s yard, his stepdad fixed it up just enough so we could drive to Joe’s Mom’s house and have it fixed there. So in there , Joe’s Mom, Joe and I ended up chatting about the Rolling Stones and Ice Tea… after what seemed like an hour, the car was fixed and we got to drive home…. to those that don’t think that was an uneventful day…. your crazy ^_^. But I must admit I had lots of fun, plus I got to know Joe better… which is becoming a small crush on him. He really made sure he took care of me and Taralynn which was the sweetest thing of all…
So yeah, this has left me in good spirits these past 2 days because with all that happened, it was so much fun ^_^
So to all you netizens… Happy 4th of July… ^_^
